Red Hat Showcases Cloud Interoperability in Collaboration with the Open Data Center Alliance at IDF
The Open Data Center Alliance (ODCA) is an independent IT consortium led by global organizations who have come together to provide a unified vision for long-term datacenter and cloud infrastructure requirements through the development of vendor-agnostic Open Data Center Usage Models and industry collaborations on cloud standards development. Red Hat joined the ODCA in June 2011 as a Solution provider member to collaborate with other involved technology leaders, including Intel, which serves as Technical Advisor to the Alliance, to accelerate products to market that address the requirements of the Alliance.
Red Hat’s contributions to the IDF POCs focus on cloud interoperability. Enabling business agility, the Red Hat-contributed POC addresses all three use-case requirements for virtual machine (VM) interoperability as identified by the Alliance.
